This quest contains lots of wait times.
You should use this time to gather the items for the upcoming steps.

Proving yourself

Head to Plamit Village and speak to Maria Christine at (40,18).
When she asks who you fight for click "Myself".
Head to Plamit's Cave 1-1, 2 or 3.
Kill 10 Baem Gaedeu and collect 5 Wind Baem Missives for each party member.
Return to Maria Christine.

Speak to Maria Christine.
Head to Plamit's Cave 4-1.
Kill 5 Baem Gaedeu, 10 Baem Soldata and collect 5 Silver Baem Egg for each party member.
Return to Maria Christine.

Wait 3 hours whilst Maria Christine meets with the Grand Baem.

Joining the Army

Speak to Maria Christine.
Pleased with your efforts and success she will refer you to Julia Rene.
When she asks if you would like to join the army of the ancient flame click "Yes".

Speak to to Julia Rene at (42,22).
Julia Rene will be your new commanding officer.
You will receive the Legend Mark: "Drazul of the Ancient Flame"

First Mission

Speak to Julia Rene to begin your first mission.
Kill 10 Baem Gaedeu, 10 Baem Soldata, and 5 Baem Sinturi.
Return to Julia Rene.
Wait 1 hour.

Second Mission

Speak to Julia Rene to begind your second mission.
Kill 10 Baem Gaedeu, 10 Baem Soldata, and 5 Baem Sinturi.
Return to Julia Rene.
Wait 1 hour.

Third Mission

Speak to Julia Rene to begin your third mission.
Kill 15 Baem Gaedeu, 10 Baem Soldata, and 10 Baem Sinturi.
Return to Julia Rene. She will ignore you, denying your credit.

Talk to Maria Christine. She will acknowledge your problem with Julia.
Talk to Julia Rene. She will give you your mission credit and a day off.
Wait 3 hours.

First Promotion

Speak to Julia Rene. She will mention your powerful friends and then promote you.
You will receive the Legend Mark: "Gadeu of the Ancient Flame".

Speak to Maria Christine. She will congratulate you and apologise for the lack for pageantry.

Fourth Mission

Speak to Julia Rene to begin your fourth mission.
Kill 15 Baem Gaedeu, 15 Baem Soldata, and 10 Baem Sinturi.
Return to Julia Rene.

Fifth Mission

Speak to Julia Rene to begin your fifth mission.
Kill 15 Baem Gaedeu, 15 Baem Soldata, and 10 Baem Sinturi.
(You will have a three hour time limit)
Return to Julia Rene.

Sixth Mission

Speak to Julia Rene to begin your sixth mission.
Kill 30 Baem Gaedeu, 30 Baem Soldata, and 20 Baem Sinturi.
(You will have a three hour time limit)
Return to Julia Rene.

Grunt work

You will be demoted to the lowest rank.
You will receive the Legend Mark: "Dum'Drazul of the Ancient Flame".

Speak to Julia Rene.
She will ask you to bring her 10 Uncut Hy-brasyl. (Not consumed)
Return to Julia Rene.

Speak to Julia Rene.
She will ask you bring her 10 Finished Hy-brasyl. (Consumed)
Return to Julia Rene.
Speak to Maria Christine.

Speak to Julia Rene.
She will ask you to bring her 2 Conix Fragment.
Return to Julia Rene.

Speak to Maria Christine.
You will receive a Partially Decoded Missive.
Use the Partially Decoded Missive to begin cracking the code.

SPOILERS:
Speak to Maria Christine.
Julia Rene has been cursed. Perhaps the spirits of Medenia can help.

Head to Hwarone City and enter the Fire Spirit Temple at (48,98).
Approach the FireSpirit and say "Please".

Head to Water Temple Entrance and enter the Water Spirit Temple at (16,9).
Approach the WaterSpirit and say "Please".

She will ask you to bring her a handful of hallowed soil from the Earth Spirit.
She will also ask you to bring her the following flowers;
2 Lily Pads, 2 Kobold Tail, 2 Dochas Bloom, 1 Cactus Flower.

Head to Noam Village and enter the Noam Sacred Grounds at (88,0).
Approach the EarthSpiritand say "Please".
You will receive a Pouch of Soil.

Return to the WaterSpirit.
Say "Please".
She will take the Soil and the Flowers.
Wait 3 hours.

Return to the WaterSpirit.
Say "Please".
You will receive a Curative Potion.

Speak to Maria Christine.
She will ask you to bring her a Rock Fish.
Return to Maria Christine.
Wait 3 hours.

Second Promotion

Speak to Maria Christine.
You will receive a Delightful Meal.
Speak to Julia Rene. You will cure her curse.
Speak to Maria Christine. You will be promoted.
You will receive the Legend Mark: "Soldata of the Ancient Flame".

Seventh Mission

Speak to Julia Rene to begin your seventh mission.
Kill 30 Baem Gaedeu, 20 Baem Soldata, and 20 Baem Sinturi, and 10 Baem of Wind.
Return to Maria Christine.
Wait 3 hours.

Third Promotion

Speak to Maria Christine. You will be promoted.
You will receive the Legend Mark: "Sinturi of the Ancient Flame".
You will receive a Satchel of Goods.

You may now also enter the boss room.
After completing this quest you may help Gisaem with some Baem Missive Decoding.
