Hunting Tactics


Box Group


Only the lurer will move. They bring monsters to the group which are then killed. Lurers typically get to keep all the loot and are reserved a spot for one of their weaker characters to receive experience as they will be away from the group and miss most of it. This style is favored because it is laid back and people can freely go get a drink ect without slowing down the hunt. Roles often required are mic, mdc, flower, spellers and high mana mspgers.

Slow Moving Box


Similar to above but the entire group moves around the map.
This is often used when there is an overwhelming enemy that requires a full group but would easily kill a lurer.
This group sacrifices mobility for safety.

Basher + Caster


Unlike box groups this group has good mobility.
They can kill monsters one by one or gather a few up and kill them at once.
Luring inbetween skill cooldowns is a good way to increase your rates.

Rogue + Caster


Similar to above. The Rogue has some powerful skills with hefty cooldowns.
This group would function well in areas with strong monsters that are spread out.

Archer + Caster


The Archer is capable of attacking many dark defense creatures at once so they should try to gather as many as they can when possible. The Archer can finish off stray creatures with Rear Strike or Assassin Strike.

Caster + Caster


Most of the time this group will sacrifice control but in areas where that is not an issue they can increase the debuffing and killing speeds drastically.

Basher + Basher


Quite redundant in this age but some bashers still prefer the company of a similar class.
This group is limited because of their lack of debuffs.

Basher + Priest Hybrid


Most creatures die easily so it's not as effective as it once was.
This group can still perform quite well if the hybrid can help with killing after all the creatures are debuffed.

Soloing


By far the easiest group to find but it may get lonely at times. If you can kill things at a decent speed you can earn amazing experience. In a recent update two man experience is now the same as soloing so the additional killing speed and company is definitely worth it.

Areas, Setups and Rates


Rates will vary depending on gear, health, mana, skills, spells, group setup, size, and how busy the area is.
The approximate rates do not include the usage of an Exp Bonus.

Kru have been changing experience values lots lately. These may be wrong.
